On Sunday, October 28, 2019, at 9:00 am, the Center of Gender Studies at the University of Zakho conducted a panel on "Gender and Violence" at the hall of Khalil Khayali-Faculty of Humanities.

In the first part of the panel, Ms. Nazdar Arif-Director of the center talked about the center, its mission and vision. In the second part of the panel, Ms. Jihan Hassan delivered a seminar on "Gender and Violence". It is worth mentioning that a noticeable number of students and lecturers participated in the panel.
